Is Luwak coffee the best coffee in the world and how does it compare with Arabica and Robusta coffee?

Luwak coffee, or Kopi Luwak as it is known here in Indonesia, is NOT the best coffee nor is it any different from coffee that the Luwak animal (Civet Cat) has NOT eaten and digested. I call it a scam. It has been hyped by the media, including the very popular movie “The Bucket List” starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.

I created a video detailing my reasons for referring to it as a scam.

Buyer beware…..just because someone may be selling coffee for a ridiculously high price, does not mean it must be the best coffee in the world no matter what they say. It is possible to make the best coffee in the world inexpensively by paying attention to what matters most.

The best coffee is coffee that is 100% Arabica, and is freshly roasted, freshly ground, and freshly brewed. My emphasis here is on freshness…..thats what creates the best coffee.
