With conflicting coffee research, caffeine, and health, is it good for you? Where to find reliable information?

Recent research does not seem to be conflicting at all, it shows there are many health benefits to drinking coffee including disease prevention and a longer life.

Caffeine, by itself, can be beneficial when consumed in moderation, or it can also be abused by overdosing.

Coffee contains much more than caffeine which is why there is a big difference between consuming coffee and, say, one of the caffeine loaded energy drinks.

Coffee is the most beneficial, in my opinion, when you are using fresh roasted 100% Arabica (by fresh roasted I recommend using within 3 days of roasting). The lower quality and cheaper Robusta variety has TWICE the caffeine as Arabica which is why I do not recommend using it.

Ultimately, you have to decide for yourself whether coffee is beneficial for you. Do you like its effects of increased energy and providing clarity of thought? Or are you overly sensitive and it makes you feel jittery and scattered? Everybody has a different reaction…..knowing what yours is is the most important element.

All about coffee........."From the Cherry to the Cup". My experience with coffee has been a lifelong journey studying, experiencing, and practicing how to get the maximum amount of effect from this mystical, magical, sacred fruit. The coffee I am creating is medicinal quality and I, and others I turn on to it, are getting high off of it! Coffee is the most widely used psychoactive drug on the planet and is probably the least understood in terms of its effects on the human brain and body. I will try to de-mystify, de-bunk, and deliver logical and practical ways the average person can benefit most from coffee's special qualities.
