Roasting Coffee from around the planet.
Coffee from Indonesia, Sumatra, Sulawesi..
They just got some green coffee in from Papua, New Guinea.
This is the DADA Fresh Coffee Warehouse. Let’s go see the Roaster!
The scale to weigh the green coffee.
Once weighed, the coffee is put into the loader. Then a blower moves the coffee upward into the container above the roaster.
This is a 90 Kilo Roaster! That is a bunch of beans moved by air!
The roaster is heated by propane. The pre-heating takes 10 minutes and the roast takes 18-28 minutes.
90 KILOS!!!
The highest roast temperature is 190 degrees celcius!
Not a dark roast!
Wow! Look at the size of that cooling chamber! It’s massive!
I may be a fellow coffee roaster, but have never seen a roaster this size!
The roasters I have built are an 8, 6, 4, 3, 1 kilo, and 120 gram. Small in comparison.
They also have a smaller 2.5 kilo fluid bed roaster.
Thanks for the tour DADA Fresh Coffee. Very Impressive!!
