Once people try fresh roasted coffee they can immediately tell the difference and are hooked.
The shop’s customers will then want to bring home some fresh roasted coffee. Other businesses, restaurants, cafe’s, specialty shops, etc., will then want their own fresh roasted coffee. Now the shop has the potential to sell more of their fresh roasted coffee both wholesale and retail. Their solution? Get a bigger roaster, or get an additional smaller roaster and roast more coffee to satisfy this new demand.
It really just comes down to supply and demand. And if the shop is unwilling to scale-up its roasting operations, pretty soon another roaster will move in and satisfy the increased demand.
