For my money the best single cup coffee maker is the Moka Pot, also referred to as a stovetop espresso. It simply makes the strongest cup of coffee for the best price. If you use only freshly roasted and freshly ground coffee (using an inexpensive Burr Grinder), you will be very close to achieving the best cup of coffee that is possible.
